Right now, however, I'm enjoying a couple of novels including the newish Sci-Fi blockbuster Wool, which I'm rather enthralled by Hugh Howey.
I was suggested this book by a dear friend, and that's the way I decide on most of the books I read--word of mouth. However, sometimes I do just pick up a book based on recommendations in the paper or online, and I had the treat of offering three of my favorite reads to the Wisconsin State Journal a couple of weeks ago. In my list, I proposed Feed, by M.T. Anderson, The Arrival by Shaun Tan, and Wait Till Helen Comes by Mary Downing Hahn.
You can read why I selected these books in the article here.
I plan/hope to read a lot more in the coming year!
